Chargée de l'organisation du Tokyo Game Show, la Computer Entertainment Software Association (CESA) a décidé de faire un état des lieux à deux semaines de l'ouverture de l'édition 2010.
 
Aini, à la date du 30 août 2010, 143 sociétés et organisations ont réservé leurs stands et, au total, ce sont 723 titres qui vont être dévoilés, la majorité correspondant à des projets étudiants.
